When mama forgets to close the door,
I move as fast as a fox
my belly saying "more! more! more!"
what a treat, this cold food box!

Grumpa
How we love Grandpa Barlow. He reads stories to the kids, makes everyone laugh, always does silly things, listens, has a tender heart, uses rope for belts, sneaks candy bars, loves the gospel, is always there, cares about us. Thanks, "Grumpa"!

My friend Holly has motivated me to start swimming in the mornings. Her hubby runs the pool, and is very tolerant of little ones in the pool at exercise hour. I was reluctant at first, thinking I couldn't get a good workout with Caitlin, but I was wrong! Her floaty makes an excellent kick board, and she loves to play while I do toning exercises. It's also great gal time for me and Holly. Oh, and this may be the only picture the world will ever see of me in my swim cap!

Back to School
It's that time again. School started last week and the boys are LOVING it! Joshua is in 3rd grade and is so excited to have the teacher he really wanted. His best Mayfield friend is also in his class, so things don't get much better.
Andrew started kindergarten this year and yes, I cried. He is also loving school. The boys walk together in the morning, and I walk over to pick Andrew up at midday. Josh walks home in the afternoon. It is so nice to live this close to the schools
Mike is able to come home for lunch and anytime he forgets things he needs. The convenience is so nice! It looks like this is shaping up to be the best school year yet.

The Move
We had so many people show up to help on moving day. many of the elders who came to help were the same ones who helped us move in. It was touching to realize how different my perspective is on those men now. When we moved in I didn't know them at all. Now, I not only know but also love them. Several neighbor kids came to "help" as well, and we had a good time comparing toes and taking pictures.
The move went very well. We borrowed a large horse trailer and several people donated trucks for the day. We were completely moved including the storage shed by dinner time. Thanks Mayfielders for your help. We miss you already!
