Valentines

Rather than celebrate Valentines day with the traditional dinner date with just the two of us, Mike and I decided to celebrate with the whole family.  We had  a fun decorated dinner and we all exchanged valentines.  I loved sharing the evening with all these people that I love.  I am especially grateful for a wonderful husband who values the whole family and is so respectful and loyal.  The kids had a lot of fun with our little party and  I am sure it will become a new tradition.

Grandma Jan

Grandma Jan is such an amazing gal.  Dad and Jan came to visit for a day to spend some time with all of us, and especially the baby.  I think Jan really enjoyed herself.  She held onto Peter the entire time she was here, only relinquishing her hold when he was hungry.  It is so wonderful to know that my kids are so loved by their grandparents.  It makes a world of difference for them as they grow to have such great family support and love.  Janet has been an amazing binding force for our whole Jaussi family and I am so very grateful God sent her to my Dad.  We all love her so much!

Peter

He has started to smile and coo at all of us.  He has a beautiful personality starting to shine out of that little body.  We enjoy every moment with our little one.

Snuggles

 Having a new baby in the house has done wonderful things for our affection levels.  Not only do we all love to snuggle with Peter, but now we love to snuggle with each other all the more so no one gets jealous of Peter.  One Sunday morning all six of us ended up in the bed.  I am so grateful Mike talked me into getting a California King!

Caitlin loves to snuggle Peter.  I caught her loving on him the other day and had to grab the camera.  He seems to love her attention even when I feel she is being overbearing.  These two are creating a special bond.

Dance

Andrew has been tap dancing for three years now.  This week we went to a competition at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi.  Andrew's group took 1st place in their devision!  They danced to "Johnny be Good" and stole everyone's hearts.

Basketball

Joshua played city basketball for the first time this year.  He loved it!  It is so fun to watch him play with real teams and coaches and play-offs.  He is growing up!

Lego Lovers

 Joshua and Andrew have discovered the many wonders of Legos.  This is one of their latest inventions, the swimming pool.  It is so fun to watch them use their creativity and team work to build fun things.  Joshua has even decided he wants to be an engineer and design things for a living.

Of course, Caitlin likes to get in on the action as well.  Ever stylish, "Princess Tin" joins in the lego and play dough fun whenever she can.
