Gingerbread 2015

I'm afraid the days of gingerbread mansions are behind me.  This year we did houses with our Jaussi cousins.  It was fun, chaotic, and delicious!

Cooking with loved ones

Christmas is about family and food!  I love watching my kids learn to cook with their favorite people.  It feels so right.

Guessing game

This is the third time Joshua has won a guess the number jar.  He is way too good at estimating!

HS music concert

Josh was invited to joint the high school orchestra for their music department heist as program. For the finale all the groups performed a rousing carol medley that was amazing!  I was so proud of my 12 year old sawing away on his cello with all the big kids!

Eggnog day

Happy eggnog day everyone!

Josh

I couldn't get a good picture of Josh at his orchestra concert last night because Peter was taking all my attention - he was off the wall!   But I did get to snap a quick selfie with Josh after the concert.   I was so proud.  He is becoming an amazing musician and he really loves playing the cello. He will be 13 in a couple days.  My baby is growing up!

Snow!

Our first really good snow of the season came on Thursday.  Peter and I spent some time playing in the yard. It was fun to teach him basic kid snow skills like snow angles, forts, sledding, snowball fighting, snow eating, and of course the requisite snowman. He had a blast.
