Today Joshua and I were making ramen noodles for lunch when he decided to test the "don't touch it, it's still hot" rule. Well, His hand now has blisters in the patern of our stove blister. It has been quite traumatic for him. I didn't take him to the doctor because the blisters weren't popping, but it did require some first aid attention. He is protecting his hand with his life, and getting very good at doing things one-handed. These pictures are of Joshua calling Grandma Barlow to tell her the news

Laura, that is so sad! Why is it that they always have to TEST that rule?! Kadon learned the same rule last summer with my curling iron...had a lovely burn between his thumb and first finger, and all over his palm. Give him a hug for me :)
I am so sorry Joshua. I hope your hand will get better. Remember not to touch anymore stoves. I burned my back(with the sun) and it's got blisters all over it, I know how it feels. It is all painful!
My dear little Joshua, I am so sorry about your hand. I know it will get better soon. I wish I could give you a big hug and read you a fun story. I love you tons, grandma Barlow
Joshua, I wish I could give you some ice cream right now. From Dan.
Ouch! The stove is so hot it scares me when ever my kids are around it. I have always had a fear of my kids getting burned. I hope it gets feeling better soon. When Brayden burned his arm bad I called his Dr. and he prescribed some silver something stuff that really helped it heal up nice and fast.
