Memory Game

I saw this game on my friend Victoria's blog, and thought it would be a lot of fun. The more people play, the better it will be!
1. As a comment on michael's and my blog, leave one memory that you and I or you and Mike had together. It doesn't matter if you knew us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me or Michael, I'll assume you're playing the game and we'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

I remember the first time we got together at your house for dinner. It was really yummy. Also we realized how much in common we had ***Simpsons*** Thats all I have to say. *wink*

Ah, there are soooo many to choose from. I remember the time I was fed up with Kadon and his non-existant nap, and you came to walk with me to pick up Jeremy and Josh from pre-school. I was on my balcony, in tears and frustrated. You told me to stay home and re-group, and then you heaved Jeremy's bike on top of your stroller, which was already holding Andrew and pulling Josh's bike. I remember feeling insanely guilty for letting you do that--but I desperately needed the break. Later that day, you invited us out to the Wapiti park. Sitting on the basketball court and talking to you calmed me down, and I felt much better after that. I also remember a certain incident when I was complaining about my husband going on a business trip during the week I was ovulating. I remember you had an unexpected solution to the problem--and that's all I'm gonna say about that *wink*

My favorite memory of Laura is when we would go on walks to hollow road. I loved walking with you and chatting with you and I really miss it now. My favorite memory of Mike is that he was a really great home teacher, even though his assigned companion wouldn't come with him.

Mission impossible dates, lots of singing - especially in the little alcove in the seminary building - and the million musical numbers I made you do our freshman year, hanging Piglet and offering 'hate' notes, Phil the hippy beta fish from the hippies in Centerfield who only lasted a week, every time we get to play "My Heavenly Father Loves Me", when you tried out for LD Singers and made it and yelled at me for whooping so loud, Buster and Cleaver awards, swimming at the MC pool (I'm glad we got to talk the first 10 minutes of every workout - I miss that). Anyway, I have more, but you get the idea. I love you chica!

Oh yeah, and the marker thrown at us during US History that I think really cemented our friendship... That's a pretty good one.

Laura Q, Olive Garden, Peach Shakes and star gazing, make over nights, table clothes WITH center pieces, singing for, well, everything (because 'whatever Laura wants, Laura gets . . .'), crushes and heart aches, my escort, play dates and chick flicks-and I can't wait for more memories that are to come.

Letting me come over to the trailer to watch Lord of the Rings (The nieghbors were complaining because the Lord of the Rings was too loud), playing with Joshua while Mike and Laura went out, watching your fish die, getting Jerri at PetsMart, Eating your meals while I was going to college, Going to the seminary class and taking the American Sign Language class with Mike while Laura stayed home, playing Phase 10and many other very competative games, Eating at Cafe Sabor with Speedy for the first time (The waiter dropped some glass), Laura introducing Lee's salsa and avacodo dip, and of course getting Aggie Ice cream. I have tons more, but it's getting late, so I better stop.

I remember lots of things. One of them is running to death in the freezing cold with ice on our hair and eyebrows. Skiing and talking and others.

I remember BBQing chicken at your house the day Tony bought Brayden's motorcycle (your deck wasn't even finished then) Remember how long it took to cook chicken for that large of a crowd! Grandpa and the kids all took a ride on your swing! What a great time!
