Gingerbread house

This year my girlfriends and I built gingerbread houses from scratch. This was an ambitious endeavour. We spent one saturday baking our gingerbread, one saturday constructing, and decorating, and then it took me another few hours on my own to finish it up. Very fun though, and Joshua enjoyed the whole process. Next year if we try it again, we may enter in the "Parade of Gingerbread Houses" contest that Logan Main street has every year. We'll see.

It is so cool I saw it when I was up there and it was one of the neatest I have seen. We used to make them every year then save them until the 4th of July and blow them up. It was fun.

Wow! Really Cool! I watched a Gingerbread House competition on T.V. the other day. It was held in Asheville NC at the Grove Park in (we stayed there for a dental conference once) Search the food network channel to see it! I was amazed! I think you should practice and compete next year. That would be a fun family traditon and I love the idea of blowing it up for the fourth! It is two celebrations in one! Such a time and money saver!
