for those who are curious about my comment on the Young family blog, here is the story on my toes. Karen called us on Christmas to wish us well, and while we were talking Michael rolled over my toes with the computer chair. I screamed and dropped the phone, and about a minute later and much cursing, I realized that Karen was still on the line. it was a bit embarassing, but my toes and ego are doing better today.

i wish you hadn't had the toes moment, our special karen is very sensitive about loud, abusive language...you might have left an emotional scar that will be with her for years, now, becky is the hard one who would have just shrugged off the event.....goal for new year is not to yell...to serve older widows in the ward..i have two on my home teach route

Thanks for the story. It does not sound fun at all. I am glad it is feeling better.

Check for broken toes. I broke my pinky once and didn't know it was broken, it just hurt for like a month then I went to the doctor and had an x-ray then I did things what he told me to do. Sometimes you can just hurt your toes and not know if you broke them, if it just hurts for a long time, that's how you know.

There was no cursing and I thought Laura did very well at keeping her cool. I was actually relieved when I found out that there was not any bleeding or an Ax murderer at the door! WHEW! I was just very concerned until Laura got back on the phone! I am glad everything is allright but I agree with Dan on this one, if your toe is still black and blue and hurting or bends in the wrong direction...it is best to get an x-ray

LAURA AND MIKE, MIKE AND LAURA, when you give christmas gifts to dumb people, be sure to leave instructions, i have had my birfeeder hanging out just like you gave it to me, and then i realized that you don't want the finches to have that toberlone chocolate from switzerland, karma saw it hanging there and often made the comment,"do you think those little birdies want that big bar of chocolate???so anyway we refilled the feeder with karen's corn, sunflower seed mix and re hung it

the nuts and chocolate inside the feeder were for you, dad. I guess we should have realized that this would require explainations.
